Provides and facilitates support services to children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities. Services for children and youth include early intervention, infant development, various therapies, and supported child care. Services for adults include a supported employment program, day programs, semi-independent living program, and leisure and recreation. Also operates Island Health-funded assisted living facilities; intake is through Home and Community Care, Community Access Line. Nonprofit society, registered charity.

Adult Community and Residential Services

Operates several staffed residential group homes for adults with developmental disabilities.

Operates several staffed residential group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Residences provide a caring, supportive environment to help people achieve their optimal level of independence. Staffed 24 hours a day. Referrals are made through Community Living British Columbia (CLBC). Supported Independent Living supports adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own home or apartment. Staff provide assistance in daily living skills, including; budgeting/bill paying, grocery shopping, household maintenance, social and leisure opportunities, and personal hygiene. Referrals are made through CLBC. Passages Day Program provides supports and teaching in the areas of daily living, social, communication, pre-vocational, recreation, and leisure and provides opportunities to access their community. Recreation and Leisure Program offers leisure and recreation activities to adults with developmental disabilities who are retired from work or are seeking opportunities to access age-friendly community resources and events. Day programs run at various times Monday to Friday.

Adult Employment Services

Provides job seekers with developmental disabilities with a variety of supports, including; employment planning, business planning, resume preparation, interview skills, employment counselling, marketing and job searching, job coaching, and follow up for both the employer and employee.

Provides job seekers with developmental disabilities with a variety of supports, including; employment planning, business planning, resume preparation, interview skills, employment counselling, marketing and job searching, job coaching, and follow up for both the employer and employee. Job seekers may utilize all services, or choose the services they need to meet their career goals. The HYPE Program focuses on preparing young adults for employment after high school graduation.
