  Connects seniors age 55 and older living in Sechelt and the region with a personalized wellness plan to improve health and well-being.

  Connects seniors age 55 and older living in Sechelt and the region with a personalized wellness plan to improve health and well-being. Links to social activities and programs, physical activity and exercise programs, meal delivery and nutrition programs, and family and caregiver supports. Also helps participants to access transportation support, language or translation support, emotional support, and culturally appropriate programming. The program aims to foster improved social connections, enhanced mental health, and reduced reliance on emergency medical interventions. Referrals are primarily by a health professional. Funded by BC Ministry of Health and managed by United Way BC's Healthy Aging programs.

  Volunteers provide free assistance with completing tax returns for low-income individuals on the Sunshine Coast who meet eligibility requirements (individuals with income up to $55,000 or families with income up to $65,000, plus $5,000 for each additional dependent).

  Volunteers provide free assistance with completing tax returns for low-income individuals on the Sunshine Coast who meet eligibility requirements (individuals with income up to $55,000 or families with income up to $65,000, plus $5,000 for each additional dependent). Service offered at the office and at outreach locations in Sechelt, Gibsons, and Pender Harbour. Appointments are required for in-person tax clinics in March and April, drop-in service is available at select locations year-round; see website for locations and times.
