Promotes wellness of seniors living in West Kelowna and Peachland through social, educational, referral, and volunteer programs. Programs include physical activities, health education, and volunteer visits. Volunteers drive seniors to and from medical appointments and errands; suggested donation round-trip to Kelowna $30 and West Kelowna $20. Annual tax preparation clinic for low-income individuals and families runs March to April. Also offers Digital Device Tutorials at Mount Boucherie Secondary School (2751 Cameron Road, registration required); funded as an Active Aging Plus program by United Way BC (UWBC) Healthy Aging Program. Also receives funding from Province of BC, City of West Kelowna, Central Okanagan Foundation, and Interior Health. Some services require membership in WHNS ($20 per year). Office hours are 8 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
