Service Description

Provides free, confidential, multilingual information and referral regarding community, social, and government services in BC. Through live call, text, webchat, and online service 24/7, 365 days a year, resource navigators strengthen vital connections by referring people in need to resources in their local communities, including food banks, income assistance programs, seniors services, legal resources, immigrant services, counselling, and shelter information. Also provides information through the Shelter and Street Help Line for Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and the Greater Victoria area. Language interpretation is available to callers in over 240 languages and dialects. Self-serve online Resource Directory can be accessed at bc.211.ca. Funded by Government of BC. Part of a network of 211 services across North America.
