Provides a wide range of information and referral services in BC through 211 British Columbia, as well as the Alcohol and Drug Information and Referral Services, Racist Incident Helpline, Shelter and Street Help Line, VictimLink BC, and Youth Against Violence helplines. Resource navigators provide free, confidential, multilingual live call, text, webchat, and online service from 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) year-round, strengthening vital connections by referring people in need to resources in their local communities. Free, self-serve, online Resource Directory can be accessed at bc.211.ca. Enables policy development and program planning by analyzing caller and resource data and providing insights to decision-makers about community needs. Accredited by Inform USA.
