Aboriginal Child and Youth Wellness Program (ACYWP)

Promotes wellness, balance, and healing among children and youth up to age 19 and their families. Clinical services are delivered by clinical counsellors, support workers, and a psychiatrist when needed. Services include assessment and individual counselling that incorporates Indigenous healing. Program is based in Prince George, and staff travel to Lheidli T'enneh, McLeod Lake, Tsay Keh Dene, and Kwadacha (Fort Ware). Call for intake appointment. Hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and 9 am to 12 noon Thursdays. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
