  Promotes wellness, balance, and healing among children and youth up to age 19 and their families. Clinical services are delivered by clinical counsellors, support workers, and a psychiatrist when needed. Services include assessment and individual counselling that incorporates Indigenous healing. Program is based in Prince George, and staff travel to Lheidli T'enneh, McLeod Lake, Tsay Keh Dene, and Kwadacha (Fort Ware). Call for intake appointment. Hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and 9 am to 12 noon Thursdays. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).

  Mobile, community-led crisis response service provides mental health support to people 13 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

  Mobile, community-led crisis response service provides mental health support to people 13 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The team works to de-escalate mental health crises and create community care plans; services include screening, assessment, phone support, crisis management, peer connections, resource referrals, and follow-up care. Led by individuals with lived mental health experience and mental health professionals, the team offers a client-centered, trauma-informed, and community based alternative to police intervention. This service is also for those facing substance use crises. Contact is by phone call or text. Service hours are 10 am to 10 pm seven days a week. Serves the Prince George area. Funded by the BC Government and by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).

  Free dental clinic for those who cannot afford treatment, are experiencing pain or infection, and are willing to have their tooth removed.

  Free dental clinic for those who cannot afford treatment, are experiencing pain or infection, and are willing to have their tooth removed. Services are provided by volunteer dentists, dental assistants, and dental hygienists. Services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis; clients must be willing to wait for hours to be seen. CareCard or Status Card is required. Operates from 6 pm to 9 pm every second and fourth Tuesday of the month; arrive starting at 3 pm to fill out paperwork and reserve a spot. Offered in partnership with Prince George and District Dental Society.

  Provides safe, nurturing long-term housing to youth ages 13 to 18 who are in the care of Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Six beds are open to female and male Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal youth. Staffed and supervised 24 hours a day with healthy role modelling support. Services include food, clothing, transportation, counselling, advocacy, referrals, and transportation, as well as recreational and educational activities. Not wheelchair accessible. A referral is required from MCFD.

Individuals may also be dealing with mental health issues, physical disabilities, and/or substance use. Individuals must be able to independently care for themselves. Services include life skills training, case management, and access to residential support workers. Provides referral to therapeutic group work, employment readiness, and other community services as needed. Staffed 24/7. Length of stay is generally up to 18 months. Does not accept couples.   The Aboriginal Homeless Outreach and Homeless Outreach teams provide outreach to individuals who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or difficult to house. Outreach workers determine housing needs, and provide referrals to services to meet immediate needs such as emergency shelter, food, clothing, and blankets. Also provides help with obtaining identification and income assistance. Connects individuals to housing options by providing support with the application, move-in process, appointments and/or housing viewings, and liaison with landlords; rent subsidies may be available to support this process. Outreach services are available to the community regardless of gender or housing status. Serves Prince George. Drop-in centre is open 24-hours.

Offers counselling to individuals and families relating to issues such as violence, sexual abuse, sexual assault, family breakdown, residential school abuse, trauma, addiction, suicide, and mental health issues. Alcohol and drug services include counselling for youth and adults working through addictions, assistance with entry into a treatment facility, and education for clients and their families about addictions. Program is culturally sensitive and grounded in Indigenous values and provides access to Elders, cultural facilitators, and ceremonies to promote healing. A 24-hour drop-in centre is available onsite with meals and other support services, including positive role modeling and programs that promote wellness, self-esteem, communication, life skills, employment, and interpersonal skills. Also offers recreational activities. Outreach workers assist youth in meeting their short-term/long-term needs, refer to community resources, provide advocacy support, and empower youth to make healthy decisions. All programs are offered in a culturally holistic environment with the support of Elders. Centre is not wheelchair accessible.
