Provides a comprehensive cancer control program in partnership with Island Health. This includes prevention, screening and early detection programs, research and education, and care and treatment. Also provides access to supportive services such as nutrition, pain and symptom management, counselling, group programs, and wigs and head coverings. Library/Cancer Information Centre staff help patients and family members find information to better understand cancer and its treatment. Serves Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. Hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. Library hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
