Assists seniors age 65 and over who are in general good health, but require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include friendly visits, grocery shopping and delivery, light housekeeping and yard work, snow shovelling, and minor home repairs. Transportation is available for appointments in Quesnel and in Prince George. Fees are charged for some services on a sliding scale based on income. Serves Quesnel and surrounding communities, including Baker Creek, Bouchie Lake, Hixon, Kerseley, and Wells. Program hours vary. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way British Columbia (UWBC).
