Assists seniors ages 65 and over that require help with simple non-medical, day-to-day tasks to maintain independent living within their home and community as long as possible. Services include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, volunteer visits, and transportation to medical and other critical appointments. Area served is West of Granville Street and North of King Edward Avenue; includes Arbutus Ridge, Kitsilano, UBC, and West Point Grey. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way BC.
