Service Description

The head of the Provincial Court is the Chief Judge, who is its official spokesperson. The Chief Judge is responsible for the judicial administration of the Provincial Court and has the power and duty to supervise judges and justices. This power includes the authority to look into complaints about the conduct of judges, judicial justices, judicial case managers or justices of the peace of the Provincial Court of British Columbia. Complaints can be received using the online complaint form or by letter that can be faxed or mailed to the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court of British Columbia. This process cannot be used to complain about judges of the BC Supreme Court or the Court of Appeal. It also cannot be used to complain about a decision in a particular case.
