Child and Youth - Supported Child Development

Assists families to find options for child care programs that best meet the needs of the individual and their family; child must be 12 years of age or under, have a developmental delay or a disability, and require extra support. Services for youth between ages 13 and 19 will be provided on a case-by-case basis. Offers Youth Visions, an after-school program for youth ages 13 to 18 who have met eligibility requirements as assessed upon intake. Also offers the Aboriginal Supported Child Development Program (ASCD), to assist in finding appropriate cultural options for Aboriginal children and youth. Referral accepted from self or other.
