Child Support Recalculation Service

Free program helps families with child support orders or written agreements maintain a fair standard of support for their children by reviewing the amount of child support each year. Parents or guardians can enroll to have child support payments automatically recalculated annually so that they do not have to return to court to have them reviewed. Both parents or guardians must be BC residents and there must be an existing order or written agreement for child support from the Province of BC. Whether the child support recipient or payor enrolls, the other parent is also enrolled. To apply for enrollment, use the online portal or submit an application form by mail. After enrollment is confirmed, the recalculation process can take up to four months. Phone hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
