Community-based Victim Assistance

Community-based victim services program offers free and confidential information, referral, advocacy, court accompaniment, and support services to men, women, and children who are victims of relationship violence, criminal harassment, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse. Cell phones programmed to dial 911 are available to women at risk of relationship violence; accepts cell phone donations. Offers third party reporting to victims of sexual assault; staff report the assault to police on behalf of the victim who remains anonymous. Serves Anmore, Belcarra, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody. Hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
