Community-based victim services program offers free and confidential information, referral, advocacy, court accompaniment, and support services to men, women, and children who are victims of relationship violence, criminal harassment, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse.
Cell phones programmed to dial 911 are available to women at risk of relationship violence; accepts cell phone donations. Offers third party reporting to victims of sexual assault; staff report the assault to police on behalf of the victim who remains anonymous. Serves Anmore, Belcarra, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody. Hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).

Provides independent, transitional housing for women (inclusive of cisgender and transgender women), with or without children, who are fleeing violent relationships or are at-risk of abuse, threats, or violence.
Provides independent, transitional housing for women (inclusive of cisgender and transgender women), with or without children, who are fleeing violent relationships or are at-risk of abuse, threats, or violence. Accepts male children ages 16 and under; older males may be accepted case by case. Residents attend weekly resiliency group meetings and work on personal success plan. No alcohol or drug use while in residence. Maximum stay is 12 months. Self-referral through transition houses, as vacancies arise. Housing charge is between $550 and $750 including utilities, depending on number of bedrooms. Cannot accommodate pets. Not wheelchair accessible. Funded by BC Housing.

Provides safe, secure, temporary shelter and support for women (inclusive of cisgender and transgender women), with or without children, who are fleeing violent relationships or are at-risk of abuse, threats, or violence. Accepts male children ages 14 and under; older males may be accepted case by case. Accepts refugees and refugee claimants, as well as women from out of the province. Accepts women with mental health diagnoses who are able to care for themselves and function well within a communal setting. Staffed 24 hours. Length of stay is 30 days. High-barrier house; clients must have detoxed 90 days prior and function well within a communal setting; no substance use during stay. Accepts women on substitution therapy. Gives women a safe and supportive living environment with access to daily living requirements such as toiletries and nutritious meals. Also provides emotional support, outreach, and a Resiliency Program where community volunteers provide workshops, training, or recreation. Also provides advocacy support in accessing financial assistance, legal aid, and affordable housing. Offers resource information to enable women to explore their options and define their goals as well as assist with the development of safety plans. Personal identification (ID) is not required.
