Facilitates community kitchen groups throughout the Cowichan Valley, including Duncan (St John's Anglican Church), Cobble Hill (St John's Anglican Church), Lake Cowichan (Centennial Hall), and Honeymoon Bay (Honeymoon Bay Hall). Groups meet twice a month to plan, budget, shop, and cook four nutritious meals. Cost is between $2 to $3.50 per person for four meals. Provides advocacy, resources, and education around making smart food choices, as well as in budgeting, shopping, cooking, and food safety. Provides transportation for members returning home with meals.
