Provides family support including parent education and discussion groups, employment and training services, recreational and cultural programs, and a youth centre. The Homeless Outreach Program provides outreach services primarily to people of Aboriginal descent who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or difficult to house; helps individuals access rental housing in the private market, through support services such as referrals to housing options, information on other housing subsidies, housing search assistance, and rent supplements. Also provides a hot breakfast, shower and laundry facilities, referrals to community services, and advocacy support. Serves the Cowichan Valley. Office hours are 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
