Crisis Lines

Provides telephone counselling for people in crisis and those in need of emotional support. Service is also available in other languages accommodated through live translation service. Hours are 8 am to 12 midnight daily. Also provides emotional support by live chat for people in distress, crisis, or needing someone to talk to; access is via a mobile device or a personal computer. Trained chat volunteers receive messages on a secure virtual platform; chat service is available from 4 pm to 10 pm Thursday to Saturday. Funded by PHSA and PHAC.
