Second-stage housing facility with 40 units for women with or without children who have experienced violence or are at risk of abuse, threats, or violence. Length of stay is 18 months. Provides emotional support, safety planning, and referrals. Also offers individual advocacy with government and community agencies, parenting support, court accompaniment, life skills training, and assistance finding permanent housing. Cost is 30% of income or the maximum shelter allowance for individuals on income assistance. House is located in the Courtenay community. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
