Dinners at Home Program - East Kootenay
Offers a variety of frozen meals to support the nutritional needs and independence of seniors aged 55 and over, individuals who are home-bound or disabled, or low-income individuals and families. Regular meals cost $6.25 each and must be purchased in multiples of eight (within each case of meals, customers can purchase a variety of options from the menu) at $50 per case. Soups cost $1.25 each and must be purchased in multiples of six. Meals are prepared in containers that can be heated in a microwave or regular oven. Customers will be asked to provide their personal health number. The deadline to place orders is Monday at 11 am. Orders can be picked up the following week at the Green Home in Cranbrook on Tuesdays between 2 pm and 3 pm, or at the Pines Special Care Home in Kimberley on Wednesdays between 2 pm and 3 pm. Serves the East Kootenay region which includes Cranbrook and Kimberley.
