Supports children ages 12 and under with developmental disabilities or delays to access inclusive child care programs in the East Kootenay region. Priority given to children ages five and under. Works closely with families, child care providers, and community partners to promote inclusion and meet each child's needs. Services include consultation to identify strengths and needs, placement of support workers in child care setting, strategy development and monitoring, and referral to other community resources. Also provides access to books, toys, and resource libraries. Accepts referrals from self or others. Serves Cranbrook, Elkford, Fernie, Invermere, Kimberley, and Sparwood. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
