Foundry North Shore
Provides free integrated health and social services for youth ages 12 to 24 and their families. Mental health care, substance use services, primary health care, youth and family peer supports, and social services are accessible under one roof. Other services include youth outreach, housing support, employment support, independent living transition support, and parent navigation. Youth Urgent Response Team (YURT) serves youth ages 12 to 24 who need short-term crisis and case management support; youth can self-refer. Teams works with youth and families, if requested, for up to 12 weeks. Also offers hospital liaison from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and alternating Fridays as well as urgent intervention 9:30 am to 7:30 am daily. Sexual health services are through the VCH Youth Clinic in same building; see separate listing. Self or other referral accepted; Medical Services Plan (MSP) coverage not required, but will help eligible clients get a BC Care Card. Serves North Vancouver and West Vancouver. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Drop-in counselling hours are 1 pm to 5 pm Monday to Thursday, and 1 pm to 4 pm Fridays. Drop in primary care clinic hours are 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
