  The HOpe Centre offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use services to adults who are residents of the North Shore.

  The HOpe Centre offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use services to adults who are residents of the North Shore. Central Intake Team offers an assessment, short-term treatment, and referral to other services; referral required from family doctor or walk-in clinic. Adult Community Psychiatric Services include case management, psychiatrists, psychosocial rehabilitation, and groups within a recovery model. Serves clients with severe and persistent mental illness. Family support, including education, therapy and resources, offered for family members of individuals dealing with mental health issues. Serves Bowen Island, Lion's Bay, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

  Provides free integrated health and social services for youth ages 12 to 24 and their families. Mental health care, substance use services, primary health care, youth and family peer supports, and social services are accessible under one roof. Other services include youth outreach, housing support, employment support, independent living transition support, and parent navigation. Youth Urgent Response Team (YURT) serves youth ages 12 to 24 who need short-term crisis and case management support; youth can self-refer. Teams works with youth and families, if requested, for up to 12 weeks. Also offers hospital liaison from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and alternating Fridays as well as urgent intervention 9:30 am to 7:30 am daily. Sexual health services are through the VCH Youth Clinic in same building; see separate listing. Self or other referral accepted; Medical Services Plan (MSP) coverage not required, but will help eligible clients get a BC Care Card. Serves North Vancouver and West Vancouver. Provides dental services for children and adults with developmental disabilities whose eligibility has been established through Community Living BC (CLBC). School-age Health services include immunization, health promotion, and nutrition education, as well as vision, hearing, speech, and dental screening. Services are coordinated through local school districts; no referral is required. Offices are located in Bella Coola, Gibsons, North Vancouver, Pemberton, Powell River, Sechelt, Squamish, West Vancouver, and Whistler. Hours vary.

Services include a daily drop-in group, psychoeducational sessions and group counselling, a day program, individual therapy, consultation with an addictions physician and psychiatrist, a support group for affected others, and referral to residential treatment. Team includes doctors, nurses, and counsellors. Accepts walk-ins; also accepts referrals from physicians, nurse practitioners, and other health professionals. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; closed from 12 noon to 1 pm. Drop-in hours are 9 am to 12 noon, and 1 pm to 3:30 Monday to Friday.

  Provides same-day access to urgent care and primary care for people living in Bowen Island, Lions Bay, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver. Offers patients access to a team of healthcare professionals for immediate care, and ongoing care through referrals to a range of community services and supports. Urgent care services deal with illnesses and injuries that should be addressed by a healthcare provider within 12 to 24 hours but do not require the level of service or expertise found in an emergency department. Also provides services to patients including the frail elderly, people with mental health and substance use concerns, and patients unattached to a physician. Hours are 8 am to 10 pm Monday to Saturday, and 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Offered in partnership with the Ministry of Health and North Shore Division of Family Practice.
