Friendship Lodge

Provides transitional supportive housing for 32 Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal adults who are homeless or who are at risk of being homeless. Individuals may also be dealing with mental health issues, physical disabilities, and/or substance use. Individuals must be able to independently care for themselves. Services include life skills training, case management, and access to residential support workers. Provides referral to therapeutic group work, employment readiness, and other community services as needed. Staffed 24/7. Length of stay is generally up to 18 months. Does not accept couples. Rent is charged on a sliding scale, based on income. Does not accommodate pets. Wheelchair accessible. Contact for application. Funded by BC Housing.
