Game Break Self-Exclusion Program - Kamloops Office

Service Description

Individuals experiencing difficulties due to gambling can sign a contract to voluntarily exclude themselves from commercial bingo halls, all venues with slot machines, and/or BCLC's online gaming site for six months, one year, two years, or three years. Self-exclusion enrolment, extensions, or re-enrolment can be done:
  • In-person at a BC Casino or Community Gaming Centre (speak to any casino staff member or GameSense Advisor to learn how to sign up).
  • In person at the Kamloops BCLC office. Call customer support at 1-866-815-0222 for more information or to set up an appointment.
  • Virtually with a BCLC GameSense Advisor. Call BCLC GameSense Advisor Program at 1-866-815-0222 and press prompt '3' in the main menu to speak with a GameSense Advisor or to book an appointment at a BCLC office.
  • Online on PlayNow.com or the BCLC Lotto! App. In your account menu, go to 'Take a Game Break' and follow the on-screen instructions. (This method will only exclude you from gambling online and via the app.)
Individuals who choose to return to gambling after their term will need to complete Game Plan, an online course that provides an opportunity to self-reflect and set out goals before they return. Thirty days before a term expires, individuals will receive an email with the course link; available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Punjabi. After completing the course and submitting the online Return to Play form, BCLC will email within seven days to confirm when you can return to play.
