Provides supportive, temporary space for single older women (cisgender and transgender) as well as Two-Spirit, and non-binary individuals ages 45 to 65 who have left abusive relationships. Provides 22 affordable, one-bedroom suites (including one wheelchair accessible suite) as part of the second stage program where women can stay between six and 18 months; rent is geared to income. Supports women in becoming independent and self-reliant through supports, life skills training, and activities. Also provides women with life goal-setting, financial education, and safety. May be able to accommodate pets based on space availability, but will arrange for rehoming with SPCA where possible.
