Provides oxygen therapy to residents of VCH who suffer from asthma, chronic bronchitis, congestive heart failure, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, lung cancer, or occupational lung disease. Oxygen is available as compressed gas, liquid oxygen, or oxygen concentrator. Requests for this service are made by a physician on behalf of the client; clients must meet specific medical and non-medical criteria to be eligible for the program. Some clients may be eligible for a subsidy. Serves BC; provided through contracted vendors. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm.
