Provides culturally appropriate services by Indigenous women for Indigenous women. Services include Indigenous Women's Counselling/Stopping the Violence (STV) Program, First Nations Women's Support Worker/Community-Based Victim Services Program, and specialized support groups for Indigenous women. Support workers provide advocacy and use traditional healing and mainstream approaches and practices while working with women survivors of trauma, intergenerational trauma, and the impacts of colonization. Funding provided by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
