Interior Crisis Line Network

Provides free 24-hour telephone crisis support to people in distress, seven days a week by trained volunteers who provide emotional support, resources, referrals, and crisis intervention. The 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline is a free, national 24-hour phone and text crisis line for individuals of any age experiencing a mental health crisis and require immediate support, or who are worried about someone they know. Support available in French and English. The Interior Crisis Line network is funded by Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), and the 988 Suicide Helpline is funded by the Government of Canada. Serves the Interior Region of BC, with satellite locations in Cranbrook, Kelowna, Trail, Vernon, and Williams Lake. Partnership between CMHA Kootenays Branch, CMHA Vernon Branch, CMHA Cariboo Chilcotin Branch, Kelowna Community Resources, and Trail FAIR Society. Funded by Interior Health.
