Mental Health and Substance Use Services - Penticton

Provides a range of health care and support services for adults with mental health and/or addiction issues. Services include assessment, treatment, counselling, education, and referral to community resources. Also provides counselling to individuals who are concerned about someone else's substance use. In addition, provides access to other specialty addiction and mental health services. The Integrated Treatment Team (ITT) offers adult substance use treatment that is discrete, based on client needs, and flexible to accommodate individuals who have been unable to attend traditional inpatient or outpatient treatment programs in the past due to work schedules, lack of transportation, child care demands, or other reasons; service includes virtual and in-person individual and group counselling, medication, support in development personal treatment goals, overdose prevention and harm reduction services and supports, self-management support, and support from trained peers. Also offers a Youth Intensive Case Management program providing team-based care coordination for youth with significant mental health and/or substance use concerns. Services are provided in the community and are tailored to the person's needs. Hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
