Provides a range of health care and support services for adults with mental health and/or substance use issues. Services include assessment, treatment, counselling, education, and referral to community resources. Offers Withdrawal Management (detox), including medical and non-medical support and supervision to minimize the effects of withdrawal from alcohol or other drugs. Services are offered in the community, in a residence, or at a medical unit. Typical stay is five days. Also offers counselling to individuals who are concerned about someone else's substance use. Crisis Response Team responds to mental health and substance use crises within the community and at the hospital to provide intervention, assessment and referrals to resources. In addition, provides access to other specialty addiction and mental health services. Serves Fruitvale, Rossland, and Trail. Open referral. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
