Mental Health Review Board

Independent administrative tribunal that conducts review panel hearings to review and decide whether persons detained in or through any designated mental health facility in BC should continue to be detained based on criteria in the Mental Health Act; hearings normally take place in private at the hospital or community facility where the patient is detained. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
