Provides financial assistance for a portion of the downpayment required for the purchase of residential property for Nisga'a citizens living in Canada who do not reside on Nisga'a lands. Eligibility criteria require that the applicant be 19 years of age or older, employed, have an approved mortgage, not previously have owned their own property, and be planning to reside and use the property as principal residence. The maximum grant available is $25,000 per property. Serves the Nass Valley, including Gitwinksihlkw (Canyon City), Laxgalts'ap (Greenville), Gingolx (Kincolith), and Gitlaxt'aamiks (New Aiyansh).
