Overdose Outreach Team

Offers brief follow-up to establish a connection to addictions care after opioid overdose; also serves those at high risk of opioid overdose. Services include navigation to appropriate services, support in accessing opioid agonist therapy, and overdose prevention education. Self-referral or referral from others accepted. To make a referral, call with as many of the following detail as possible: client's name, birth date, PARIS ID or Personal Health Number, reason for referral, best way to contact client for follow up (phone, address, hang out). Serves Powell River, Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish, Vancouver, West Vancouver, and North Vancouver. In partnership with the Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services (VFRS), also offers the Combined Overdose Response Team (listed separately). Hours of operation are 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday; also available by phone from 6 pm to 8 pm Monday to Friday and from 8 am to 8 pm weekends and stat holidays.
