Responsible for coordination of leisure and recreation programs, field bookings, culture activities, and supervision and rental of facilities in the district. Offers fitness, educational, and social activities for children, youth, families, and older adults, as well as for individuals with special needs. Recreation Financial Assistance Program (RFAP) provides discounted program fees and free admissions for residents of West Vancouver in financial need. Leisure Access Card grants free access for one support person, to accompany a person requiring extra support due to disability, significant illness, or a long-lasting condition.
