Issues passports and other travel documents. Standard passport processing time is 10 working days for an in-person application and 20 working days by mail. Express passport service is 2 to 9 working days' processing time while urgent service is available for the next business day. Fees are $120 for a five-year passport and $160 for a ten-year passport; express or urgent service is extra. Those who need to change the name on a passport must apply for a new passport. Indigenous people may change the name on their passport to reclaim their Indigenous name at no cost until May 30, 2026. Service is delivered in English and French. Hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
