Confidential database containing all civil and criminal protection orders issued in BC. Ensures that police have 24-hour access to accurate, current information on peace bonds and civil restraining orders. Goal is to contribute to the reduction of violence against women, vulnerable adults, youth, and children through support of the enforcement of civil and criminal protection orders. People who have obtained protection orders can check with victim service workers, Victim Safety Unit, court registry, or police to ensure that their order is registered.
