Provides public health nursing services. Prenatal and Early Years services include prenatal nutrition and lifestyle information; education and information on pregnancy and childbirth; postpartum support, including physical and emotional well-being for mothers and babies; breastfeeding assessment and support; child health clinics and immunizations. Also provides fluoride varnish for children under three, dental health education, and information and referral to dental programs for low-income families and seniors with no dental health insurance coverage. Provides dental services for children and adults with developmental disabilities whose eligibility has been established through Community Living BC (CLBC). School-age Health services include immunization, health promotion, and nutrition education, as well as vision, hearing, speech, and dental screening. Services are coordinated through local school districts; no referral is required. Offices are located in Bella Coola, Gibsons, North Vancouver, Pemberton, Powell River, Sechelt, Squamish, West Vancouver, and Whistler. Hours vary.
