Salish Lelum Youth and Elders Housing

Provides subsidized housing with one-bedroom suites for eight elders age 55 and over, and bachelor units for 10 youth ages 18 to 24; priority is for Indigenous peoples. Youth need to either be working or attending school. There are laundry facilities, a computer lab, common areas including patios, and an outdoor BBQ. Wheelchair accessible building; one unit each for an elder and youth is fully accessible. Rent is 30 percent of applicants' gross household income. Potential applicants can call about rent information, apply directly, and be put on the waitlist. Funded by Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) in partnership with BC Housing.
