Services for pregnant women and women up to six months postpartum include screening and assessment, brief intervention during pregnancy and early postpartum, counselling (individual, family, and group), referral, and access to child care and transportation for clients.
Focuses on nutrition and health, provides supplemental food, and offers peer support. Pays particular attention to preventing low birthweight and fetal alcohol syndrome/fetal alcohol effects (FAS/FAE). Prevention activities include promoting community awareness of healthy pregnancy practices, and providing education in schools regarding pregnancy and the use of alcohol. Funding by Island Health and Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) as a Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP).

Provides support, information, and education programs for parents and their children from birth to six years of age who would benefit from extra support.
Creating Healthy Families program offers drop-in parent education on issues such as nutrition, traditional parenting, and child development. Provides child care, lunch, and transportation for participants. A drop-in social group for parents and children offers recreational activities, including games, traditional arts and crafts, and storytelling. Funded by Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).

Services for adults 19 years and over include screening and assessment, brief intervention, counselling (individual, family, and group), training in life skills and coping skills, and referral.
Recovery circle provides pre- and post-residential treatment care. Holistic program addresses the healing of mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Works to increase awareness of the damage substance misuse can cause to the individual and the community. Weekly relapse prevention group deals with topics such as problem-solving, conflict resolution, and co-dependency. Accepts referrals from self or others. Also provides counselling and referrals for family members.

Provides short-term, emergency shelter for youth ages 12 to 18 who are experiencing stressful situations and have been identified as at-risk.
Works to promote a safe, secure, stable, and nurturing environment. Services include advocacy, referrals, and support. 24-hour shelter, with intake at any time, although pre-arranging an intake time is welcome. Maximum stay is two weeks, but can be extended if necessary. Accepts all genders; individual rooms are available if house isn't full. Indigenous-based programming, but open to all youth. Permission of legal guardian is required. Not able to accommodate pets. Limited storage space for bikes. Wheelchair accessible.

Provides individual counselling and a closed support group to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal male survivors of sexual, physical, mental, and emotional abuse, as well as the impacts of residential school.
Services are for men of any cultural background, although the program incorporates Aboriginal traditions as part of the healing process. Serves Nanaimo and surrounding area, south to Ladysmith and north to Nanoose Bay. Funded by Ministry of Attorney General.

Provides subsidized housing with one-bedroom suites for eight elders age 55 and over, and bachelor units for 10 youth ages 18 to 24; priority is for Indigenous peoples.
Youth need to either be working or attending school. There are laundry facilities, a computer lab, common areas including patios, and an outdoor BBQ. Wheelchair accessible building; one unit each for an elder and youth is fully accessible. Rent is 30 percent of applicants' gross household income. Potential applicants can call about rent information, apply directly, and be put on the waitlist. Funded by Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) in partnership with BC Housing.

Provides transitional housing and support for new and expectant cisgender Aboriginal mothers between 18 and 25 years of age and their children, in the Nanaimo area, who are homeless or who are at risk of homelessness.
Supports mothers to reintegrate with family and access education, stable housing, employment, and opportunities for social and economic participation. Staffed from 6 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, as well as part-day coverage on weekends; office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
