Sexual Abuse Intervention Program (SAIP) - North Vancouver Island

Provides free counselling to children and youth under the age of 19 who have been sexually abused. Program includes assessment, treatment, and support services for the children and for non-offending family members and/or caregivers. Also provides one-to-one counselling for children up to age 12 who display sexual behaviour problems. Open referral. Serves Alert Bay, Port Alice, Port Hardy, Port McNeill, and Sointula. Funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
