Sexual Assault Response Program (SARP) - Southern Gulf Islands

Offers free and confidential emergency support, ongoing support, and individual counselling for sexual assault survivors of any gender age 13 and older. Emergency help for people who have been sexually assaulted within the last seven days includes telephone or in-person sessions for emotional and practical support, and accompaniment to the hospital or RCMP. Also offers third party reporting to adult victims of sexual assault; staff report the assault to police on behalf of the victim who remains anonymous. Safety planning, referrals to other service providers, and ongoing counselling is available to female-identified and youth survivors of historic or recent sexual assault. Serves the southern Gulf Islands.
