Provides services for women and children, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals, throughout the Southern Gulf Islands whose lives have been affected by poverty, violence, and abuse. The 24-Hour Violence and Abuse Help Line provides non-judgmental support and information and referral for all callers dealing with intimate violence issues to make their own choices. Inclusive of cis and trans women, and nonbinary people. Also operates rental housing for people with low or moderate incomes; see separate listing. Serves Galiano, Mayne, Pender, Salt Spring, and Saturna islands. Funded by BC Housing. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
