Provides support to survivors of sexual assault of any age and gender identity. Supports include; in-person support at hospital emergency department, safety planning and emotional support, and forms completion, including Crime Victim Assistance Program applications, victim impact statements and victim notification registrations. Provides ongoing assessment of clients' needs, and referral to appropriate supports, such as legal advice or counselling support. Also offers sexual assault awareness and prevention training to service providers. Clients can self-refer by phone or email. Serves Powell River. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
