Specialized Intervention and Youth Justice Branch
Provides community supervision and custody programs to youth ages 12 to 17. Youth probation officers work in multidisciplinary offices throughout the province and are responsible for the community-based supervision of youth in conflict with the law. Youth who are under community supervision or in custody may be referred to Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services that provide mental health assessment and treatment services. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
