Provides safe, temporary, affordable second-stage housing for self-identified women with or without children who have experienced intimate partner, domestic, and/or sexualized violence. Located in Vancouver. Offers comprehensive wrap-around support, including emotional support, counselling, advocacy, safety planning, court accompaniment, life skills training, parenting support, children's programs, recreation, referrals, and assistance in finding permanent housing. Residents are expected to actively engage in a Circles of Care program framework; see website for details. Support staff are on-site from 10 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. Length of stay is one year, with the possibility of an extension up to 18 months. Up to two companion animals may be accommodated. To apply, individuals should complete the online expression of interest form and send via email; phone calls cannot be accommodated. Referral from a first-stage transition house required.
