The Sanctuary Program provides shelter, trauma-informed counselling, and wraparound support for women with or without children who require an outreach worker's assistance to begin their recovery journey. The Supportive Recovery Program is a six- to 12- month residence for 18 adult women (cisgender and transgender) who are actively seeking a recovery-centred lifestyle. Offers individual and group counselling, addiction education, life skills development, anger management training, stress management, educational upgrading, and employment counselling and related services. Accepts women on substitution therapy. Open referral. Service is provided in English; no access to interpretation provided. Applications available online or from reception. Reception hours are 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday. Fee is $60 per night, based on Ministry standards for special facilities. For private pay, cost is $550 per month. Wheelchair accessible. Registered as an Assisted Living Residence.
