Promotes substance use harm reduction on campus and throughout the Okanagan. Harm reduction services include providing harm reduction supplies and drug checking to anyone including those outside the university community. Supplies include safe drug use supplies, condoms, naloxone kits, fentanyl test strips, and packaging for drug-checking samples. Drug checking services and naloxone training are offered in Kelowna, Penticton and Vernon in partnership with Interior Health and other community organizations. Also offers drop-in recovery support meet ups for students wanting to explore their relationship with alcohol, drugs, or other addictive behaviours.
