Service Description

Offers evidence-based psychological care at a lower cost for adults, including UBC Okanagan faculty, staff, students, and the broader Okanagan community. Also offers psychoeducational assessments and neuropsychological assessments. Services provided by student therapists under supervision of registered clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists. Eligibility and fees for each service are determined by a variety of factors; these are discussed individually with each client or referral source. The Problematic Substance Use Clinic is a low-barrier outpatient treatment service for individuals seeking help to reduce harm associated with their use of alcohol or other substances. Treatment provided by doctoral level psychology students under supervision of a psychologist who is an expert in the field of substance use. Fees for services are on a sliding scale based on income, and range from $10 to $80 per hour. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday (and some evenings).
