Provides same-day access to urgent and primary care. Offers patients access to a team of healthcare professionals to provide immediate care, and also ongoing care through referrals to a range of community services and supports. Also provides appointments to patients including the frail elderly, people with mental health and substance use concerns, and patients unattached to a physician. Crisis Response Team responds to mental health and substance use crises within the community and at the hospital to provide intervention, assessment, and referrals to resources. Centre offices are located in Alexis Creek, Ashcroft, Castlegar, Cranbook, Elkford, Kamloops, Kaslo, Kelowna, Oliver, Penticton, Rock Creek, and Vernon. Hours vary. Operated in partnership with Ministry of Health, Central Okanagan Division of Family Practice, and Doctors of BC.
